Birthday Parties

Hype Danz is the perfect place to host your child’s birthday party.  We offer a variety of dance styles and party themes for you to choose from to ensure your guests have a memorable time.

 

Hype Danz has a large size dance room where kids will be instructed.  There is a smaller dance room where the party will be hosted.  We also have a waiting area, change room and washroom.

Hype Danz is a fully operating dance studio located in North Courtice/Oshawa.  We offer lessons in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hip, Highland, Acro and Ballroom/Latin for all ages and levels.

Step 1 – Choose your party package

 

Party Package #1

  • 2 hours (45 minutes to 1 hour of dance and 1 hour use of party room)
  • 15 minutes before and after for setup and cleanup
  • 10 kids maximum
  • $200 plus HST
  • $8 each extra participant

 

Party Package #2

  • 2 hours (45 minutes to 1 hour of dance and 1 hour use of party room)
  • 15 minutes before and after for setup and cleanup
  • 17 kids maximum
  • $250 plus HST
  • $8 each extra participant

 

Step 2 – Choose your party time

  • Sunday 1-3 PM
  • Sunday 4-6 PM

 

Step 3 – Choose your party theme

 Glee - Dance and sing to the music of your favourite tv show, GLEE! (Choose from Don’t Stop Believin’, Proud Mary, Toxic, Teenage Dream, Thriller/Heads Will Roll, Born This Way, etc.)

Hip Hop/Pop Star Beats - Learn the craziest and latest high energy moves of your favourite hip hop/pop artist.  (Choose from Usher, B.O.B, Taio Cruz, Ludacris, Michael Jackson, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Lagy Gaga, Justin Bieber, etc.)

Broadway - Sing, dance and act out your favourite broadway show or musical.  (Choose from Lion King, Grease, Dreamgirls, Chicago, Wicked, Mama Mia, Mary Poppins, Legally Blond, West Side Story, etc.)

Ballerina - Learn the technical dance form of ballet and perform to traditional classical music

Disney Princess - Be a dancing Disney princess (includes some select props applicable to princess selected).  (Choose from Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Princess Disneymania, Perfect Princess Tea)

Disco Fever - Light up the dance floor with a disco inspired routine from the 70’s.  (Choose from “You should be dancing”, “That’s the way I like it”, “Staying alive”, “Don’t stop till you get enough”, etc.)

Mini Dance Party - Dance with your favourite TV friends.  (Choose from Yo Gabba Gabba, Dora, Hip Hop Harry, Sesame Street, Angelina Ballerina, Barney, etc.)

Western Roundup - Round up your friends and line dance your way to the rodeo

 

Parties include:

Map and directions

Use of props for theme

Dance instructor and assistant if required for full 2 hours

Generic party decorations, table, chairs, tablecloth, napkins, plates, cups, cutlery, tongs, cake lifter, cake knife, lighter, and candles

Fun games and activities if time allows.

Showtime! Kids will perform the routine at the end of the party for parents and friends.

Parties DO NOT include:

Food, drinks, cake, pinata, crafts, loot bags

All items listed are available for an extra charge.

50% deposit required at time of booking

50% payable on day of party

Parties payable by cash or cheque

RSVP required 2 days prior

Party can be rescheduled based on availability of dance studio

Cancellations – Deposits are non-refundable, but party can be rescheduled based on availability of dance studio

Hype Danz is not responsible for allergies, lost/stolen articles or liability of any kind

Waiver forms must be signed by parent/guardian of all children attending party
